Camera Colorimeter
Camera Colorimeter is a free Android app developed by Auralisoft specifically designed to color calibrate a Windows device using the back-facing camera as a colorimeter. It establishes communication with the external device via Bluetooth, offering features such as producing an ICC profile for installation on the PC, utilizing RAW_SENSOR data for precise color metering, and providing an option to calibrate the camera by capturing a reference D65 white point and primary RGB colors.
To use Camera Colorimeter, you need an Android device running Lollipop or higher, Bluetooth capability, and a high-quality back-facing camera with DAYLIGHT (D65) white balance and manual exposure controls. For optimal results, a camera supporting RAW_SENSOR image capture is recommended. The app enhances color readings by allowing a reference D65 light source and sRGB white, red, green, and blue primaries for improved accuracy.
